Music Academy FAQs
What instruments do you teach?
We have a team of 10 teachers who offer lessons in guitar, violin, piano, saxophone, harp, vocals, drums, ukulele, bass, band coaching, song writing, DJing and music production.
How long is each lesson?
Lessons range from 30 minutes to an hour, and are held in person at our Music Academy.
When are lessons held?
Lessons can be arranged Monday to Saturday, starting at 9am, with the last lesson of the day starting at 8:30pm.
How often are my lessons?
Our lessons run on a weekly basis, and run alongside the school terms.
Do I have to take exams?
No, you can just learn to play for your own enjoyment. However, students have an opportunity to take graded exams where appropriate. Grade 6 is equivalent to a GCSE with UCAS points, Grade 8 an A Level with UCAS points.
How do I pay for lessons?
Lessons can be paid for either by bank transfer up-front at the start of each term, or paid monthly on Direct Debit. Please contact our team for more information regarding pricing and payment.
