Matt Hinton
Hailing from a Classical Music upbringing, Matt excelled at secondary school as a music scholar on the Piano, Flute, Organ and Vocals. As a teenager however, Drumming became his rebellion against the formality of Grade Exams and Orchestra. He lived and breathed drumming through his youth before starting a family and focusing on his career as a Professional Coach. Having rediscovered his passion for Drumming in his 40s, Matt has played with several bands, released two EPs and an album. Matt brings his professional coaching style into his lessons, with an emphasis on making the lessons fun and enjoyable. Matt also coaches a student band here at DeRosa Music as well as his one to one Drum tuition.
